Comment by G2G2 I forgot to remove Gilneas Tabard when i finished farming cloth and went into BC heroics to farm rep and noticed i was gaining rep with Gilneas. I gained roughly 17 rep per kill where i was gaining per kill in the vanilla wow dungeons. Comment by RosTo I'm lvl 85 and to my big surprise this tabard gives reputation even while running normal Outland dungeons. It seems that mobs from Northrend dungeons are giving the same amount of reputation so if time is most important factor, You should hit Outland.

Comment by Zenzara Just so you know, I put in a ticket regarding the tabard not working in certain dungeons and this is the response I got from the GM. It seems that they do not work in dungeons that already give faction specific reputation gains. They city tabards won't work in the Burning Crusade dungeons and won't work in the early Wrath of the Lich King dungeons.
The tabard will start working again once you start doing the level 80 wrath of the lich king dungeons. Comment by Khayos I'm trying to build my Gilnean Rep up for my garrison guards.
So far, I found that editing as I go : Heroic MoP dungeons give 20 rep per trash mob except for a few which give rep each , and rep per boss Taran Zhu for some reason didn't give any rep upon defeating him.

I'm soloing it for the Anubisath Idol battle pet that drops from one of the bosses. As it didn't drop for me, I'll try again in a week; as it's a raid, not a dungeon. Comment by Rharsia Carefull pet owners. I learned the hard way why most of the mobs didn't give me reputation. Mobs your pet kills, without you tagging give no reputation. So, as you can see, Stockades and Deadmines are pretty close to even, and will give you the quickest Gilneas reputation per minute. Keep in mind though, I believe there is still a cap on how many dungeons you can run in an hour 5? Also, for those people still trying to reach the Justice Point cap, this is a good way to kill 2 birds with one stone and gain Gilneas Rep as well.
If you are waiting between queue times, try knocking out Deadmines or Stockades to make the best use of your time! Hope this helps, and I will try to add a few other dungeons to the above lists soon! Also, I believe the Alterac Valley turn-ins may give Gilneas rep as well, though I cannot personally confirm this. Stoopid alliance-minded Khor!
So is there a new mechannisim that grants you specific Honor for something like Gilneas? By wearing their Tabard? Yup, you can start working on Worgen and Goblin rep as long as you are wearing their tabard in dungeons not Outland dungeons. Decided to wear the Gilneas tabard for my daily WotLK dungeon ended up in UP and was geting rep the whole way through. Not sure of numbers but at a steady pace and for those who are JP farming for Cata, you get to kill two birds with one stone.
I can understand Hordies wanting to rep grind up to get the Trike, but for Alliance there is nothing to buy. You can get to friendly but not honored, exalted or revered. Has anyone else found this?
Everything works fine. I hit Exalted yesterday by doing only Heroic LK instances. Not getting anything for being exalted kinda sucks tho… Horde got new mount. Update: Added Scholomance.
